About the Artist:   Born in the Adirondacks, my love for art began as a young adolescent where I would grab pad and pencil to copy cartoon characters and send for the free art lessons offered by the “Draw Me” ad on the matchbook covers.

For the past several years I’ve been studying art and enjoying photography. It is my outings with my camera that are my inspiration for my painting subjects. Whether painting the beach, roads. landscaping or an intimate close-up of flowers, my style has been described as painterly realism.  I am currently a member of the Plymouth Art Guild and have exhibited in the Plymouth area. I have an upcoming show at the Cataumet Arts Center.

I am a freelance artist currently accepting commissions for original art work. My favorite medium is Oil on Canvas. Original oils and Giclée prints are available.

My family is the heartbeat of my life and I’ve been blessed with a very supportive husband, two children, their spouses, six grandchildren and two granddogs.
