About the artist:
Carol Golemme studied abstract and art history
at the University of Georgia. She studied in Massachusetts with Pat
Gray, Donna Rossetti-Bailey, Liz Haywood –Sullivan, Katherine Smit,
and Lisa Marder fueling a passion for impressionist interpretations.
“In my art groups, I stand among incredible talent here on the South
Shore. I feel very lucky to have such inspiration around me. It’s a
whole new world and very different from travel, business and
motherhood. I love the peaceful, meditative element of concentration
required to capture moods and motion in a painting.”
Intended to bring nature’s serenity into busy offices, homes and
health care facilities, she paints the pulse of life’s subtle
vibrations and sounds within tranquil panoramas.
Carol’s work has been exhibited at the Plymouth Guild Art Stroll,
South Shore Art Center, North River Art Society, Duxbury Art
Association, The Gallery at the North River Community Church and the
Canoe Club at Pembroke. Her paintings are part of national and
international collections including private, corporate, educational
and medical.
