About the artist: After years of working in banks and at a local Mutual Fund company, a succession of events led me to decide that it was finally the right time to put my natural artistic talent to work.

In the year 2002, I used severance pay from my last employment and took my first class, “Designer Wall Finishes” at The Faux Finish Institute, Aurora Colorado, under the direction of Kelly S. King. In the same year, I also created my own business, Wonders On Walls, and began to market my abilities in the South Shore and greater Boson area.  Since that time, I have participated in several, very intense workshops, under the direction of some of the best in the business. These include:

* Marble and Semi Precious Stone; The Faux Finish Institute; Seattle, Washington: Instructor: Patrisia Labeye
* Fine Furniture and Accessories; The Faux Finish Institute; Denver, Colorado; Instructor: Kelly S. King
* Making a Mural; Faux Like a Pro; Allston, Ma.; Instructor: Susan Harter.

I continue to receive opportunities to decorate many homes and businesses with beautiful murals and extraordinary faux finishes. During the past two years, I have worked with Wilkins Art Associates, in their effort to promote healing through the arts, by creating paintings for patient and exam rooms at Children’s Hospital, Boston.

My work has received mention in Cranberry Coastal and the prestigious local magazine, Home Gallery. My artwork has been featured in past “Under The Tents”, Plymouth Guild for the Art’s Annual Juried Art Show. Recognizintg the tremendous talent in this area, I was honored that two new pieces, “A Pilgrim Maid: Defining A Nation” and “The Spell Casters” were chosen for display in 2007.

I absolutely love what I do! The hours spent painting fly by in a way that constantly amazes me. I find it is a continual and satisfying challenge, transforming a vision of my mind’s eye onto canvas, in a manner that captures a new beholder with the same beauty that inspired me.
