About the Artist:
I enjoy making art and exploring
various mediums, moving from watercolor to oils and pastels, to
photography. Generally, I work in a realistic or representational
style and occasionally become more whimsical. I am interested in using
my point of view to interpret the light, textures and designs found all
around us, from a simple still life to landscapes. I have been working
with digital photography in a formal approach and also exploring photo
collages, photographing in multiples and creating more abstract pieces.
Trained as a graphic designer, I have had my own
design/illustration studio for many years. My art and photography
allows me to create more personal work and has been received with many
awards and honors over the years.
