2012 New Gallery Exhibit Policy Changes!

Effective January every regularly scheduled Russell/Members show will be judged, with ribbons awarded for First Place and three Honorable Mentions. Winners will be announced and ribbons awarded at the Opening Reception. A dozen experienced artists have agreed to serve on a panel of judges; each member will participate in judging one show in the upcoming year. In addition, visitors to the Center will be invited to vote for their favorite piece in each show; the votes will be tallied at the end of the show with the Popular Vote announced and ribbon awarded at the Opening Reception of the next show. Photographs and announcements will be sent to local newspapers.

--Members Shows - Effective immediately, members may display two pieces in each show; there will be a hanging fee of $10 for each piece. Russell Gallery artists may submit up to two pieces for display in the Russell Gallery PLUS two pieces for display in the Members Gallery.

Our Mission
Our mission is to promote the creation and appreciation of the visual and performing arts, for local and worldwide visitors. We will nurture creativity in adults and children through education and by providing a variety of cultural experiences. We seek to further the understanding between the creators of art and the public. We provide and maintain the facilities for engaging people in a variety of artistic endeavors, including classes, workshops, and performances.
